AI Rendition of 'Ram Aayenge' in Lata Mangeshkar's Voice Goes Viral, Strikes Emotional Chord

In a touching tribute to the grandeur of the Ayodhya temple’s consecration ceremony, a YouTuber has created a viral sensation with an artificial intelligence (AI)-generated version of the revered bhajan ‘Ram Aayenge’ in the iconic voice of the legendary Lata Mangeshkar. The YouTube video, shared by DJ MRA, has captivated social media users, adding a unique touch to the historic occasion.

The 51-inch Ram Lalla idol, adorned with gold and flowers, took center stage today ahead of the grand ‘pran pratistha’ ceremony at the Ayodhya temple. The event, likened to a Diwali celebration, commemorates Lord Ram’s homecoming after the epic battle with Ravan. Social media is abuzz with excitement, and people across the nation are joining in diverse celebrations to mark this historic day.

Amidst the festivities, DJ MRA’s AI-generated rendition of ‘Ram Aayenge’ in Lata Mangeshkar’s voice has become a sensation, spreading across various social media platforms. The YouTuber accompanied the video with a thoughtful disclaimer, clarifying the synthetic nature of the voices used, emphasizing that it is not intended to imitate specific individuals.

“It’s a blend of open-source tools and my sound engineering, crafted with respect and appreciation for music and its creators. Created out of love for music and in honor of artists no longer with us, this work is respectful and not for profit,” the disclaimer reads.

Internet users have expressed their admiration for the AI rendition, praising DJ MRA for skillfully utilizing Lata Mangeshkar’s iconic voice. Emotions ran high as users commented on the sweetness and nostalgia evoked by the rendition. One user stated, “There is sweetness in her voice which is not found in the voice of any singer today. I believe that Saraswati herself was present in her voice.”

Others were equally moved, with comments ranging from expressions of awe to gratitude. “Awesome!!! The song gave me goosebumps!” exclaimed one user, while another commended the use of artificial intelligence, stating, “This is the actual use of artificial intelligence.”

Meanwhile, the historic Pran Pratishtha ceremony witnessed the presence of representatives from major spiritual and religious sects across the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the distinguished gathering, emphasizing the significance of the occasion.

The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir, constructed in the traditional Nagara style, stands as a magnificent testament to Indian architecture. With a length of 380 feet, width of 250 feet, and a height of 161 feet, the temple is supported by 392 pillars and adorned with 44 doors. The intricately sculpted depictions of Hindu deities, gods, and goddesses on the temple’s pillars and walls add to its grandeur, making it a symbol of cultural and religious heritage.
