ndia's defence exports have skyrocketed in the past decade, with the country achieving a record Rs 21,000 crore in exports, marking a ten-fold increase from Rs 2,000 crore in 2013. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh announced the milestone during his address at the Army War College in Mhow Cantonment, Madhya Pradesh, where he outlined the ambitious target of raising annual defence exports to Rs 50,000 crore by 2029.

Lucknow, Dec 25 — On the 100th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath unveiled a statue of the late leader at Kudiya Ghat along the banks of the Gomti River in Lucknow. The unveiling ceremony was part of a series of events organized across Uttar Pradesh to commemorate Vajpayee's contributions to the nation. The state government also observed the day as "Good Governance Day."

In a significant boost to India’s border infrastructure, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated 75 infrastructure projects by the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) on Saturday. These projects, valued at ₹2,236 crore, span across 11 states and union territories, including strategic regions such as Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, and Arunachal Pradesh.

In a firm assertion of India's stance on Kashmir, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh declared that Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) is, was, and will always remain an integral part of India. Speaking at a security conclave held at Jammu University, Singh addressed the internal and external dimensions of the country's defence mechanism, emphasizing the significance of Jammu and Kashmir (J-K) in the discussion.
