Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) is set for a major transition as Terminal 1 (T1) becomes fully operational on April 15, while Terminal 2 (T2) will shut down next month for refurbishment. The announcement was made by Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL), the airport's operator, on Thursday.

The thick fog, a result of the ongoing cold wave, has enveloped Delhi over the past three days, reaching the lowest minimum temperature of the winter season.
