MeitY Committee Recommends Setting Up $2.5 Billion India Semiconductor Research Centre

A committee under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has proposed the establishment of the India Semiconductor Research Centre (ISRC) with an investment of $2.5-3 billion, aimed at bolstering India's position as a global semiconductor supplier.
