The central government has made it clear that it is not considering any changes to the retirement age of government employees, Union Minister of State for Personnel Jitendra Singh announced on Wednesday.

The Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill, 2023, which empowers the Centre to oversee transfers and postings of Group A officers in Delhi, has been passed in Lok Sabha. The bill was brought after the Supreme Court's ruling on the government's control over services in Delhi.
