An IndiGo flight bound for Guwahati encountered an unexpected diversion today, leaving passengers stuck inside the plane for an extended period due to adverse weather conditions. Flight 6E 5319, originating from Mumbai and en route to Guwahati, was rerouted to Dhaka as attempts to land in Kolkata, the nearest airport, were hindered by inclement weather. The situation was further complicated by the closure of Bhubaneswar airport's runway, limiting the available options for the diverted flight.
