Lucknow, Dec 25 — On the 100th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath unveiled a statue of the late leader at Kudiya Ghat along the banks of the Gomti River in Lucknow. The unveiling ceremony was part of a series of events organized across Uttar Pradesh to commemorate Vajpayee's contributions to the nation. The state government also observed the day as "Good Governance Day."

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath commemorated the 99th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee during a visit to Bateshwar village. In his address, he credited Vajpayee for providing stable governance that steered the country away from challenges associated with unstable regimes, praising the late PM's vision for Uttar Pradesh.
