The sea-facing Mumbai apartment, located in the upscale Bandra West area, is listed for ₹25 crore. A real estate Instagram account recently shared a video of the property, which quickly caught the attention of fans who recognized it as Sonakshi’s home.
The 2 BHK apartment, spanning 4,200 square feet, boasts luxurious features including a private elevator and interiors valued at ₹5 crore. Fans were quick to note the striking resemblance to Sonakshi’s apartment, which she had previously showcased in a home tour video for Architectural Digest India. The same apartment was also the backdrop for many of Sonakshi and Zaheer’s wedding photos.
Sonakshi first announced the purchase of this apartment in May 2023 via an Instagram post, though reports from Hindustan Times suggest she actually bought the property in March 2020. In September 2023, she also acquired another apartment in the same building for ₹11 crore. During the Architectural Digest tour, Sonakshi described the apartment as her “home away from home,” explaining that while she still lives with her parents, Shatrughan and Poonam Sinha, she uses this space for work meetings.
The sale of this apartment comes just months after Sonakshi and Zaheer celebrated their wedding in the same space. Reflecting on her wedding day during an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Sonakshi shared how she wanted a stress-free day, with friends and family freely moving around the apartment while preparations were underway. “It felt so homely and beautiful. It was perfect,” she said.
The listing of Sonakshi’s apartment has stirred curiosity among fans and real estate enthusiasts alike, with many commenting on social media about the iconic home being up for sale so soon after the wedding.
