Sanjeev Jain, CEO of Parsvnath Landmark Developers, was apprehended at Delhi’s IGI airport following a dramatic 60-kilometer chase, according to the Delhi Police. Jain’s arrest came in response to multiple non-bailable warrants issued against him for failing to appear before the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC).
Jain, who resides in DLF Phase-2, Gurugram, was taken into custody by the Delhi Police Special Task Force (STF) from Shahdara. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Shahdara) Surendra Choudhary confirmed the arrest, stating that the warrants had been pending due to Jain’s non-compliance with the NCDRC’s summons.
The legal troubles for Jain began with a complaint filed by Rajat Babbar. According to the police statement, four non-bailable warrants and one bailable warrant were outstanding against Jain at the Shahdara police station. The arrest marks a significant development in the case and highlights ongoing legal challenges faced by top executives in the real estate sector.
