Krishna Murari Sharma’s entrepreneurial journey did not begin with a perfect academic record or an obvious path to success. The founder of Solvrex and luxury clothing label Velmori began as an average student in Jamshedpur who once failed mathematics. What followed was a story of persistence, social service, technology, education and an ambition to build organisations that create value for people.
Turning Failure Into Patience
While studying in Class 12 at Siksha Niketan, a CBSE school in Telco, Sharma dropped out and later appeared for his intermediate examinations through the JAC board. He could not clear mathematics. Instead of allowing that result to define him, he returned to the subject and prepared again from the beginning. In 2018, he passed.
From Education to Social Impact
Sharma went on to pursue a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering at the Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER) in Odisha. During his college years, he joined the JAAGO NGO and became involved in grassroots social work. His work brought him into contact with political organisations and senior leaders in Odisha, and he later took on an organisational role with the National Students’ Union of India focused on student welfare.
The experience became especially meaningful during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. While still an undergraduate, Sharma helped organise food, clothing, medicines and oxygen cylinders for families facing severe difficulties. The experience reinforced his belief that professional success should ultimately remain connected to service and practical impact.
A Setback in Berlin, Then a New Direction
After completing his B.Tech, Sharma planned to continue his education in Europe. He received an admission offer from a reputed institution in Berlin in 2022, but regional conflict and instability made the move untenable, leading him to withdraw. Rather than abandoning the goal of advanced learning, he rebuilt his plan, enrolled at QSpiders for automation training and developed a growing interest in algorithms and machine intelligence.
Professional Growth at Hewlett Packard Enterprise
Sharma subsequently joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a storage consultant and spent twenty months with the organisation. The experience gave him exposure to professional standards, organisational discipline and the realities of working within a large enterprise. At the same time, he continued investing in his education, completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science at IIIT Bangalore while working full time.
By the end of 2023, he had earned admission to Northeastern University in Boston for a Master’s in Analytics with a concentration in artificial intelligence and machine intelligence. The opportunity represented another step toward a long term interest in technology and data driven problem solving.
Solvrex and the Vision of Business Enablement
In June 2026, Sharma founded Solvrex Private Limited in Jamshedpur. Registered with the Registrar of Companies, Ranchi, the company operates in software and computer programming services and positions itself as a business enablement partner. Its areas include technology consulting, website and digital enablement, sales support, marketing support, operational support and career services.
A defining principle of Solvrex is vendor neutrality. The business model is built around transparent scoping and pricing, without commissions or affiliations influencing recommendations. The Indian company is led on the ground by appointed directors in Jamshedpur, including Sharma’s brother, who took on a directorship and operational leadership role.
Velmori: Expanding Beyond Technology
Alongside Solvrex, Sharma registered Velmori, a luxury clothing brand, in 2026. The label represents a deliberate move into a field centred on craftsmanship, considered design and long term quality. Together, Solvrex and Velmori reflect two different sides of Sharma’s entrepreneurial interests: technology and business enablement on one side, and luxury, identity and design on the other.
What Comes Next
After completing his master’s in 2026, Sharma is currently awaiting work authorisation in the United States. Once that is in place, he intends to establish a corresponding entity in Boston, Massachusetts, while operating in compliance with applicable regulations. Conversations are also underway with contacts in Canada, Australia, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates regarding potential future international expansion.
For Sharma, however, the journey is not defined by speed. His experience has taught him that delayed progress can still become meaningful progress. From failing mathematics in Jamshedpur to pursuing advanced education in Boston and building two ventures in 2026, his story is ultimately about continuing to move forward after plans change.
A Message for Students Facing Failure
Sharma’s message to students who are ashamed of an examination result is direct: a result sheet does not define a person. His own journey demonstrates that taking extra time, preparing again and continuing to learn can open paths that may not be visible at first.
Today, his broader ambition remains connected to the same idea he carried as a student: making things better for society in every way he can reach. Solvrex and Velmori are early expressions of that vision, combining technology, business support, creativity and a long term commitment to building something useful.
