Free Wheelchair Service at Maha Kumbh:Devotees Say, "Thank You!"

Amazon India has launched a new initiative at Maha Kumbh 2025 to enhance convenience for devotees. The company has introduced a free wheelchair service in the fairgrounds, ensuring easy mobility for the elderly and differently-abled individuals. This service is particularly beneficial for devotees who face difficulty in walking.

The service is completely free, allowing all those in need to avail it effortlessly. The process is kept simple—devotees only need to show their identity card to receive a wheelchair.

The wheelchair service is available right next to the Lost & Found Department, located in front of the Someshwar Mahadev Temple, making it easily accessible. To further assist devotees, Amazon has also deployed a free volunteer force, with Amaze Solution playing a key role in its execution.

During the launch, key members of the Amazon team, including Arun Sharma, Veeru, Tapan, and Amaze Solution’s founder, Ritesh Sharan Srivastava, were present along with their full team.

This initiative is proving to be extremely helpful for visitors at Maha Kumbh, enabling them to move freely and participate in rituals, bathing, and darshan without any hassle. Amazon’s effort is commendable, contributing to better crowd management and an enhanced experience for devotees.

Additionally, at Maha Kumbh 2025, Amazon has set up ‘Suv‍idha Kiosks’, providing essential services such as first aid, mobile charging stations, and drinking water. The company has also taken an eco-friendly step by upcycling its cardboard packaging boxes into portable beds for the convenience of devotees.

Amazon’s free wheelchair service and other thoughtful initiatives at Maha Kumbh 2025 highlight its commitment to both business and social responsibility, ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience for all attendees.
