Buttermilk Distribution Drive Conducted by Yuva Uddan Charitable Trust on International Workers’ Day in Thane

Thane, May 1, 2026: Marking International Workers’ Day, Yuva Uddan Charitable Trust organized a buttermilk distribution drive across multiple locations in Thane to support and appreciate frontline and daily-wage workers during the ongoing summer heat.

The initiative covered key areas including bus depots, police stations, and construction sites, where volunteers distributed chilled buttermilk to 300+ workers and personnel on duty. The drive aimed to provide immediate relief from the heat while acknowledging the consistent efforts of individuals who contribute to the city’s daily functioning.

The event was led by Trustee Anmol Saraf, along with active participation from fellow trustees Harsh Agrawal, Soham Konde, Hriday Gurbani, Neev Jain, and Shubham Jain, under the guidance of Chief Trustee Sahil Sidhwani. Core team members, including Aayush Mehta, along with several dedicated volunteers, played a key role in the seamless execution of the initiative.

The drive was conducted as a gesture of gratitude towards workers who continue to serve despite challenging weather conditions. The Trust emphasized the importance of small yet meaningful efforts in supporting community well-being and reinforcing social responsibility.
