Eminent social worker and National Youth Awardee Shri Rammdas Maarne was conferred with the prestigious "Vidyavachaspati Samman" in recognition of his exceptional contribution to social service during a Rashtriya Sangoshthi (National Seminar) and Convocation Ceremony held at Hotel Radisson Park Inn, Ayodhya Dham. The event was organized by Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya Hindi University.

In a significant move to enhance healthcare infrastructure, the Odisha government has announced an investment of ₹9,200 crore to redevelop four major medical institutions across the state. The decision, aimed at upgrading healthcare facilities and expanding bed capacity, was made during a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. Health and Family Welfare Minister Mukesh Mahaling also attended the meeting.

Infosys, one of India's leading IT giants, has terminated 195 more trainees from its Mysuru campus, citing their failure to clear the company’s internal assessment test. This move adds to a growing list of terminations, with around 800 trainees impacted since February this year. The decision was confirmed through official emails dated April 29, which highlighted that despite additional preparation time, doubt-clearing sessions, mock assessments, and multiple attempts, these trainees did not meet the qualifying criteria in the company’s ‘Generic Foundation Training Program’.
