In a significant move to enhance clean energy production and regional energy security, Bhutan's Druk Green Power Corporation (DGPC) and the Adani Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly develop hydropower projects with a combined capacity of 5,000 megawatts (MW). The agreement, announced in Thimphu, marks a milestone in the ongoing collaboration between the two entities and builds on their existing partnership for the 570/900 MW Wangchhu Hydropower Project.
