Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for four significant railway projects in Odisha, totaling an investment of ₹2,871 crore. These initiatives aim to enhance rail connectivity, decongest key routes, and stimulate socio-economic development across the region.

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has greenlit six railway projects, with an estimated cost of approximately ₹12,343 crore, announced the government in a statement on Thursday.
