US aerospace giant Boeing has announced plans to deliver 24 aircraft to Indian airlines in 2025, with additional deliveries expected from 2027 onwards.

Boeing's Starliner capsule embarked on its first crewed test flight to the International Space Station (ISS) on Wednesday, following previous setbacks. The launch is aimed at certifying Boeing as NASA's second commercial operator for ferrying crews to the ISS, joining SpaceX in this critical role.

In a major shake-up at Boeing, CEO Dave Calhoun is set to resign from his position by the end of 2024. This decision comes in the wake of the recent air travel safety crisis that has put the aerospace giant under intense scrutiny. Alongside Calhoun's departure, board chairman Larry Kellner will step down after Boeing's annual meeting in May, and the president and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Stan Deal, has resigned with immediate effect.

Boeing, the renowned US aircraft manufacturer, has encountered fresh challenges concerning the fuselage of its flagship 737 model, as revealed in a statement by Boeing Commercial Airplanes Chief Executive Stan Deal. Although the identified issues do not pose an immediate in-flight danger, they necessitate "rework" on approximately 50 undelivered airplanes, potentially causing delays in near-term 737 deliveries.
