PM Modi Hosts Dignitaries from Czech Republic, Mozambique, and Timor-Leste at Vibrant Gujarat Summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed esteemed leaders at the 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The summit, focused on ‘Gateway to the Future’, celebrates two decades of the state’s success in fostering growth and collaboration.

The Czech Republic’s Prime Minister, Petr Fiala, joined the event after arriving in Ahmedabad. He engaged in discussions with PM Modi, marking a significant interaction highlighting shared goals and cooperation.

President Filipe Jacinto Nyusi of Mozambique and President Jose Ramos-Horta of Timor-Leste also held meetings with PM Modi, emphasizing the depth of relations between their nations and India.

The engagement with President Ramos-Horta of Timor-Leste emphasized development partnerships, spanning sectors such as energy, IT, FinTech, health, and capacity building. This meeting held special significance considering Mahatma Gandhi’s influence on President Ramos-Horta’s life.

President Nyusi of Mozambique, with ties to Gujarat through his educational stint at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, discussed varied topics such as defence collaboration, trade, energy, and cultural exchanges with PM Modi.

The summit not only symbolizes Gujarat’s strides but also underscores India’s commitment to fostering global cooperation and mutual growth. Discussions at the event have centered on expanding collaborations across multiple sectors, showcasing a shared commitment to progress and development.

These meetings reaffirm India’s stance on fostering robust relationships with nations worldwide, advocating mutual growth, and reinforcing bonds across cultural and developmental avenues.
