Mark Zuckerberg Becomes World's Third-Richest Billionaire in Hurun Global Rich List 2025

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has entered the top three of the Hurun Global Rich List 2025, marking a significant milestone in his wealth accumulation. The 40-year-old billionaire saw his net worth surge 53% to $242 billion, driven primarily by Meta’s advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and technology investments.

Zuckerberg’s Rise in Wealth

Zuckerberg’s fortune grew by $84 billion in the past year, making him the second-largest gainer globally, behind Elon Musk, who added $189 billion to his wealth.

Rupert Hoogewerf, chairman and chief researcher at Hurun Report, commented on the entertainment and tech industry’s role in wealth growth, saying, “For entertainment, Mark Zuckerberg of Meta, Zhang Yiming of ByteDance, and Pony Ma of Tencent had a good year.”
