A fire broke out at the Tata Electronics Pvt Ltd factory in Tamil Nadu early Saturday morning, officials confirmed. The fire occurred at a chemical storage area on the factory premises in Hosur. Despite the severity of the blaze, no casualties or injuries have been reported.

The fire erupted around 6 a.m., prompting the deployment of seven fire tenders from Hosur and nearby districts. Firefighters worked for several hours to contain and extinguish the flames, according to a senior official from the Hosur Fire Station.

“The fire broke out at the chemical godown on the campus at about 6 a.m. Seven fire tenders were called in to control the blaze. Thankfully, there were no casualties or injuries,” the fire service official stated.

Tata Electronics Pvt Ltd reassured the public that all employees are safe and emergency protocols were effectively followed. The company is investigating the cause of the fire.

In a statement, the company said: “There has been an unfortunate incident of fire at our plant in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. Our emergency protocols ensured that all our employees are safe. The cause of the fire is under investigation, and we will take necessary actions to safeguard the interests of our employees and other stakeholders.”

Tata Electronics Pvt Ltd, part of the Tata Group, is a greenfield venture specializing in the manufacturing of precision components. The company is working closely with authorities to identify the cause of the fire and assess any potential damages.
