Akash Ambani Highlights Mukesh Ambani’s Dedication: ‘He Clears Every Email Until 2 AM’

Akash Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm, recently shared insights into the relentless work ethic of his father, Mukesh Ambani, while speaking at Mumbai Tech Week. In a conversation with Harsh Jain, CEO of Dream Sports, Akash revealed how his father’s dedication continues to inspire him.

Mukesh Ambani’s Dedication to Work

Akash Ambani highlighted that even after four decades in business, Mukesh Ambani remains deeply involved in day-to-day operations, working late into the night.

“Till date, my father clears each and every email that is sent to him, and he does it till 2 AM. He’s working for the fourth decade of his working life, and that’s where the inspiration really comes from,” Akash said.

Nita Ambani’s Attention to Detail

Apart from his father, Akash also acknowledged the influence of his mother, Nita Ambani, on his approach to work and passion. He praised her keen eye for detail, particularly when it comes to their shared love for cricket.

“My mom, very similarly, will be staring at the same thing as us, but the small little details that she notices make all the difference. Dedication is the biggest inspiration for everyone around us,” he added.

Beyond a 12-Hour Workday

During a rapid-fire round, Akash Ambani was asked if he would prefer working from 8 AM to 5 PM or 5 PM to 8 AM. He responded that his workday extends well beyond 12 hours, emphasizing his commitment to his role. He also expressed gratitude to his wife, Shloka Mehta, for being supportive of his demanding schedule.

Akash Ambani attended the Mumbai Tech Week event at the Jio Convention Centre in Mumbai alongside his wife, Shloka Mehta, and his twin sister, Isha Ambani. His insights into his family’s work ethic shed light on the dedication that drives India’s most influential business empire.
