Delhi, Mumbai: The cost of onions has soared across major cities like Delhi and Mumbai, hitting a five-year high in November with prices reaching ₹70 to ₹80 per kilogram in wholesale markets, as per reports by ANI. The sudden price hike is causing distress among consumers and affecting household budgets across the country.

In a recent move, Mother Dairy has announced a ₹2 per litre hike in milk prices across all operating markets, effective from June 3, 2024. This decision comes amidst rising production costs that have been affecting milk producers for over a year. The price increase is applicable to all variants of milk and is aimed at compensating the producers for increased production expenses.

Tata Motors, the renowned Indian car manufacturer, has announced that it will be raising the prices of its passenger vehicles by an average of 0.6% across models and variants starting from July 17. The price adjustment is aimed at offsetting the residual impact of previous input costs, according to a statement released by the company.
