Meerut Investor States His ₹29 LPA Income Grows by 54% Annually in Unusual Matrimonial Advertisement

Meerut Investor Claims ₹29 Lakh Income is Compounding by 54% Annually in Unusual Matrimonial Ad

In a matrimonial ad that has taken social media by storm, a Meerut-based investor has made headlines by claiming that his annual income of ₹29 lakh is “compoundingly increasing” by an astonishing 54% every year. The ad, which is now going viral on X (formerly Twitter), combines traditional matrimonial elements with an unconventional twist that has sparked amusement and skepticism.

The 26-year-old investor, described as “intellectual, handsome, and smart,” begins the ad with details about his physical attributes and caste, which is typical for such advertisements. However, it quickly veers into the financial realm, with the ad stating, “Investor (Indian stock market), earning 29 LPA (actual, present). Income and net worth compoundingly increasing every year by 54% (self-discovered, self-taught work).”

Highlighting his credentials, the investor offers a PowerPoint presentation on safe investing to potential matrimonial matches, emphasizing his profession’s stability and safety. “Investing is own work (Safe Business). A PowerPoint presentation (16 slides), created by the boy, explaining how Safe Investing makes him Financially Independent, will be sent by reply WhatsApp message,” the ad further elaborates.

The ad was shared by Samit Singh, a former Executive Director at JP Morgan, who retired in 2003 after achieving financial independence. However, the claims made in the ad have raised eyebrows among many social media users, leading to speculation about whether it might be a phishing scam.

Many commenters expressed disbelief at the 54% compounding claim, deeming it unrealistic. For perspective, an investment of ₹10 lakh would reportedly grow to approximately ₹5.5 crore in just ten years if compounded at such a rate. One user humorously noted, “Interesting! Compounding net worth at 54%, he will be the richest man in the world in no time.” Another quipped, “54% compounding – boss, this guy will beat Buffett very soon!”

Others criticized the ad’s tone, suggesting it resembled a business pitch more than a genuine matrimonial offer. Concerns were also raised about the “safe” aspect of his investing strategy, with one user stating, “It has option seller written all over it!” Another added, “Bull market gives such overconfidence.”
