Vaishali, Bihar: Dr. Bhaskar, a dedicated medical officer and MBBS graduate, has been a beacon of hope for the underprivileged people of rural Bihar. Affectionately known as ‘Gaaon ka Doctor,’ Dr. Bhaskar’s journey is a testament to the power of compassion, hard work, and determination.
Growing up in a small village in Bihar, Dr. Bhaskar was inspired by the struggles of his community and the lack of access to quality healthcare. He pursued his dream of becoming a doctor, graduating with an MBBS degree and securing a position as a medical officer in Bihar.
However, it was the COVID-19 pandemic that brought a new perspective to Dr. Bhaskar’s life. His grandfather, a constant source of inspiration and guidance, fell ill, and the experience was a rude awakening to the harsh realities of Bihar’s healthcare infrastructure. “Seeing the struggles of my own family and the healthcare system in Bihar, I knew I had to do more,” says Dr. Bhaskar.
Moved by the plight of his people, Dr. Bhaskar has dedicated his life to serving the underprivileged. He has been running a monthly medical camp at Paramhans School, Vaishali, providing free medical consultations, generic medicines, and sanitary napkins to rural girls and women, while educating them on menstrual hygiene.
Dr. Bhaskar’s vision is to open a free hospital in Bihar, where the poor and marginalized can receive quality healthcare services without financial burdens. His selfless service is a testament to his commitment to the welfare of the community.
“My grandfather was my rock, my inspiration, and my guiding light,” says Dr. Bhaskar. “I dedicate this to him, and I hope to continue serving the people of Bihar in his memory.”
