“Elon Musk’s X Introduces Exclusive Job Listing Feature for Verified Organizations on Twitter”

Elon Musk's X Introduces Job Listing Feature for Verified Users on Microblogging Platform

Elon Musk-led X, formerly known as Twitter, has rolled out a new feature allowing verified organizations to post job listings on the microblogging platform. The announcement was made through the official X Hiring account on Twitter. This feature, currently in its beta version, aims to provide verified organizations with a platform to showcase critical job roles and connect with potential candidates.

The feature, called X Hiring Beta, is exclusively available to verified organizations and provides them with the opportunity to feature their most important job positions. The job listings will be located under the “We’re Hiring” section, situated beneath the company’s account bio. Once clicked, the listings will direct interested candidates to the organization’s website, where they can learn more about the job and submit their applications.

Elon Musk had hinted at the introduction of this feature back in May when he responded to a user’s suggestion about Twitter offering dating services, stating, “Interesting idea, maybe jobs too.” This development aligns with Musk’s vision of turning Twitter into a multifunctional platform.

The introduction of this feature could be linked to Twitter’s acquisition of the job-matching tech startup Laskie in May. This acquisition likely played a role in the creation and launch of the new job listing feature. While some reports suggest that the feature could be available to premium users for a monthly fee of $1000 (Rs 82,300), US-based media company WorkWeek shared that they have been using the feature for a month without any additional fee.

Adam Ryan, CEO of WorkWeek, highlighted the significance of the feature and its relevance to their company. “While there is a ton of hype around Zuck copying and pasting another app, Elon’s Twitter is shipping products that make a ton of sense. We just got access to posting jobs on our company page. Considering we’ve hired 20+ people from Twitter, this is a no-brainer,” Ryan shared.
