In the small town of Raisen, India, a remarkable individual named Amaan Khan has emerged as a symbol of inspiration and social change. Despite facing numerous obstacles and setbacks, Amaan has risen above his circumstances and made a significant impact on his community. From being a college dropout to becoming a successful entrepreneur and founder of India’s first modern Common Service Center (CSC), Amaan’s journey is a testament to resilience, determination, and a passion for public service.

Amaan Khan’s early life was marked by financial constraints and constant changes in schools. He had to change schools seven times due to non-payment of fees, and this constant upheaval made it challenging for him to pursue a stable education. Nevertheless, Amfan persevered, attending schools of varying mediums, including Hindi, English, and Urdu.

Amaan’s entrepreneurial spirit began to shine during his college years, although he ultimately had to drop out due to financial limitations. Undeterred by this setback, he took on part-time jobs to support himself and started working full-time. Amaan’s journey took him from sweeping a doctor’s shop to working at the local market, where he even filled bags with green chilies. Through hard work and determination, Amaan saved enough to open his own shop, Amaan Digital.

Amaan’s entrepreneurial ambitions led him to launch Amaan Digital, a shop that offered various services, including banking assistance. Despite initial challenges, such as the absence of a meter connection, Amaan’s resilience pushed him to persevere. However, his pursuit of success didn’t stop there.

In 2018, Amaan ventured into the e-commerce industry with the launch of Raisenmart, an online shopping platform. Despite facing stiff competition from established players like Amazon and Zomato, Amaan’s platform gained popularity in the local market. Though financial constraints and the emergence of Reliance’s Jiomart eventually impacted the sustainability of Raisenmart, Amaan managed to extract valuable lessons and even turned a profit from the venture.

One of Amaan Khan’s most remarkable achievements is the establishment of India’s first modern Common Service Center (CSC) in Raisen. The CSC serves as a hub for various digital services, aiming to transform public service delivery and empower local communities. Amaan single-handedly built the CSC without any support from the government, his family, or relatives, making it a truly remarkable feat.

The CSC provides services such as Aadhaar enrollment, income tax assistance, CSC operations, tele-law, and telemedicine, among others. Its three-floor building houses 12 dedicated employees who work tirelessly to ensure seamless service delivery. Amaana’s commitment to public welfare is evident through the franchise opportunities he offers, with plans to open 100 new branches in the near future.

Amaan Khan’s dedication to social service extends beyond his role as the operator of the Modern CSC Center. He has established two NGOs registered under Section 8 of the Delhi government, namely Amaan Technical Federation. These organizations actively engage in social welfare initiatives, aiming to uplift the underprivileged and address pressing issues in the community.

During the city-wide lockdown, Amaan’s compassionate actions came to the forefront. In a miraculous act, he arranged a life-saving operation for a laborer who had suffered a severe hand injury. Despite bureaucratic challenges and outdated records, Amaan’s resourcefulness and determination ensured the laborer’s limb was saved. Additionally, Amaan’s innovative thinking led to the creation of temporary IDs for offline Ayushman Bharat schemes, providing access to healthcare for those in need during the lockdown. Amaan’s ingenuity and problem-solving abilities have positively impacted the lives of countless individuals.

Amaan’s philanthropic endeavors also include his dedication to providing the benefits of government schemes to the public free of charge. Through his efforts, he has facilitated the issuance of over 40,000 E-Shramik cards, connecting numerous laborers with the government’s labor welfare scheme. Amaan’s three-story CSC center, with its eight operators, has set a record in efficiently managing the E-Shramik card operations.

In a groundbreaking move, Amaan Khan and his team took on the responsibility of economic planning for the entire Raisen district. Previously, this task was solely entrusted to teachers and officials. Amaan, alongside his 30 operators and four supervisors, meticulously surveyed the district, collecting feedback and complaints from the residents. This comprehensive report was then submitted to the statistics department, highlighting the district’s unemployment issues and assessing various institutions’ performance. Notably, Mr. Umarshankar Bhargava, former collector of Raisen, commended Amaan’s exceptional survey work.

Amaan’s commitment to understanding the community’s needs extended to conducting an in-depth analysis of tenants’ conditions and the challenges faced by those working outside the district. This information was then compiled into a comprehensive report that was submitted to the Government of India. Amaan’s dedication to addressing unemployment and hunger, as evidenced by his comprehensive reports, showcases his relentless pursuit of societal betterment.

Despite encountering numerous obstacles, Amaan Khan has always displayed resilience and an unwavering determination to succeed. His journey from being a college dropout to becoming a renowned social entrepreneur and founder of India’s first modern CSC serves as an inspiration to many. Amaan’s ability to adapt and innovate in the face of challenges has allowed him to create a significant impact on his community.

Amaan’s contributions go beyond the confines of his CSC center and entrepreneurial ventures. He has also launched a news channel, Raisen 24, accompanied by a mobile app and local TV coverage. This platform ensures that important local news and information are readily accessible to the community. His Turnover is Aroun10 million & Looking forward for more funding to scaleup.
