In a powerful showcase of academic-industry collaboration, Satpuda College Of Engineering & Polytechnic, Balaghat successfully hosted a large-scale open campus placement drive, resulting in the selection of 96 students by Subros Limited, Pune, a premier manufacturer of automotive air conditioning systems.
Held on campus, the drive witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 120 students representing not only Madhya Pradesh but also neighboring states. Students from a variety of polytechnic backgrounds attended, reflecting the growing reach and reputation of Satpuda College as a regional career gateway.
The hiring process was conducted by Ms. Sonia Maan, Assistant HR Manager at Subros Ltd., and her associate Ms. Stuti Parashar. They led the written assessment and personal interviews, culminating in on-roll permanent job offers to nearly 100 deserving candidates.
This recruitment initiative aligns with Satpuda’s ongoing efforts to bridge the gap between education and employment. As a strategic move, the college also entered into a formal MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Subros Ltd., paving the way for future drives, skill building programs, and training partnerships.
“At Satpuda, we envision building career pipelines directly from the classroom to the industry. This event is a testament to our students’ potential and the faith leading companies like Subros place in them,”
said the Principal of the college.
This achievement has been met with appreciation across the student body, faculty, and local community. The college’s placement officers, staff, and leadership team extended heartfelt congratulations to the selected candidates and expressed confidence in their success ahead.
