“NVIDIA Collaborates with Infosys to Train 50,000 Employees in AI Technology”

NVIDIA Partners with Infosys to Train 50,000 Employees in AI Technology

NVIDIA, a global technology company, has unveiled its third significant collaboration in India this month, this time teaming up with IT giant Infosys. The partnership aims to empower enterprises by harnessing generative AI applications and solutions to boost productivity. Infosys plans to establish an NVIDIA Center of Excellence where it will train and certify 50,000 employees in NVIDIA’s AI technologies.

As part of this alliance, NVIDIA will provide Infosys with access to its AI Enterprise ecosystem, comprising models, tools, runtimes, and GPU systems. This ecosystem will integrate with Infosys’s AI-centric offering called Topaz, enabling the creation of customer-centric generative AI applications.

Infosys relies on NVIDIA’s full-stack generative AI platform, encompassing both hardware and enterprise-grade software, across its business operations. By doing so, Infosys helps its clients develop generative AI applications, enhancing their capabilities and efficiency.

The collaboration extends to digitalization applications, with a particular focus on developing solutions for enterprise use cases across 3D workflows, design collaboration, digital twins, world simulation, and more. Additionally, NVIDIA and Infosys are jointly working on AI-powered solutions in areas such as 5G, cybersecurity, and energy transition.

Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, expressed his belief in the transformative potential of generative AI for enterprise productivity. He stated, “The NVIDIA AI Enterprise ecosystem is ramping quickly to provide the platform for generative AI. Together, NVIDIA and Infosys will create an expert workforce to help businesses use this platform to build custom applications and solutions.”

Nandan Nilekani, Chairman and co-founder of Infosys, emphasized the company’s transformation into an AI-first organization. “Our clients are also looking at complex AI use cases that can drive significant business value across their entire value chain,” Nilekani said. He noted that Infosys Topaz offerings and solutions complement NVIDIA’s core stack, and the collaboration, including training 50,000 employees in NVIDIA AI technology, will create end-to-end, industry-leading AI solutions.

Earlier this month, NVIDIA announced partnerships with two other major Indian entities: Reliance and the Tata Group. With Reliance, NVIDIA will provide end-to-end AI supercomputer technologies, while the Tata Group collaboration involves deploying AI across various sectors and upskilling Tata Consultancy Services’ employees in AI. Additionally, NVIDIA will work with Tata Motors and Tata Communications to incorporate AI into their operations.
