Honey Singh Mocks Badshah, Takes a Dig at Raftaar During Mumbai Show: 'Tujhe Comeback Karna Padega'

Renowned rapper and singer Honey Singh kicked off his Millionaire India Tour in Mumbai with a power-packed performance, but what grabbed headlines was his pointed remarks aimed at fellow rappers Badshah and Raftaar. Videos from the event have gone viral on social media, capturing Honey Singh’s sharp words directed at his former Mafia Mundeer group members.

Honey Singh Takes a Dig at Badshah and Raftaar

During his Mumbai concert, Honey Singh took the mic to address long-standing claims about his career and alleged setbacks. He said, “Kayi log kehte hain ki wo mere bhai hain. Kayi log kehte hain ki mera comeback nahi ho raha. Aur phir kehte hain wo mere gaane likhte the. Aur phir kehte hain ki wo meri taqdeer likh denge.” (Many people say they are my brothers. They say I will never make a comeback. Then they claim they wrote songs for me. And then, they say they will write my destiny.)

He then added a poetic line aimed at his detractors: “Pichle saal meri taqdeer ne kaiyon ke guroor tode. Aur tujhe comeback karna padega l***.”* (Last year, my destiny shattered the pride of many. Now, you will have to make a comeback.) The audience erupted in cheers as he asked them to complete his sentence.

The Honey Singh-Badshah Feud

Honey Singh and Badshah have been embroiled in a long-running feud since their fallout from Mafia Mundeer, a rap group that once also included Raftaar, Ikka, and Lil Golu. Last year, Honey Singh addressed the controversy in an interview, stating that Badshah had been mocking him for a decade, particularly regarding his struggles with mental health.

“A fight happens when both people are involved, but for 10 years, one man kept abusing me, making songs about me, mocking my illness, and I never responded,” Honey had said. He claimed that he finally broke his silence in 2024 due to pressure from his fans, who urged him to stand up for himself.

Badshah, on the other hand, attempted to extend an olive branch during a concert in Dehradun last year. He publicly expressed his desire to end the rivalry, saying, “There was a phase in my life when I held a grudge against one person, and now I want to call it quits – and that’s Honey Singh. I was unhappy because of some misunderstanding, but I’ve moved on, and I wish him all the best.”

Despite this, tensions between the two rap giants seem far from over, as Honey Singh’s latest comments suggest that the rivalry is still alive.

Honey Singh’s India Tour

As part of his Millionaire India Tour, Honey Singh is set to perform across 10 major cities in India. After Mumbai, his upcoming concerts include:

  • Lucknow – February 28
  • Delhi – March 1
  • Indore – March 8
  • Pune – March 14
  • Ahmedabad – March 15
  • Bengaluru – March 22
  • Chandigarh – March 23
  • Jaipur – March 29
  • Kolkata – April 5 (final show)

Honey Singh, known for hits like Brown Rang, Angrezi Beat, and Dope Shope, remains a dominant force in the Indian music industry. Despite his past struggles with mental health, he has returned to the spotlight, proving his resilience with back-to-back performances.
